All the way back in 2003, atmos combined two classic Tinker Hatfield creations by imparting the design ethos and materials of the Air Safari onto the Air Max 1. 15 years later in 2018, the Swoosh Brand returned the homage by dressing the Safari in a colorway inspired by atmos’s “Safari” Air Max 1 — creating an interesting homage cycle of sorts. One of the key added details to this release is its Blue suede accents on the toe and heel areas. Safari print wraps the heel collar, while having a Tan/Burnt Orange upper, Black leather tongues and Dark Green Swoosh logos.
No release date has been announced but you can look for this Nike Air Max 1 to release sometime this year for the retail price of $110.
