Nike Removes The Swoosh From The Nike Cortez

The Nike Cortez has been going strong since its debut back in 1972. Now the Swoosh has dropped some new premium renditions of the silhouette that comes without the traditional Nike Swoosh logo placement. The classic Nike Cortez from 1972 is presented above in two colorways with one major change in comparison to most other Cortez releases we see. Done up in a classic black/sail and a Forrest Gump-esque white/red/blue colorway, each pair features a supple tonal leather upper with a Swoosh gracing the medial side while the lateral side remains completely free of branding. The midsole then provides contrast with a two-tone look, and the shoe is completed with debossed branding on the heels.
You can now find these Nike Cortez colorways available directly on Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $100 USD.
