Earlier, we exclusively preview the OG Authentic LX chessboard series of the Vans Vault high end branch, which will be launched in April this year. As a branch of the existing independent stores, if only four pairs of new items are launched in a month, it will be far from enough to support the operation of the store. Now, we’ve got the scoop on a few more high-end items from April: OG Style 138 LX and OG Style 43 LX.
Style 138 is very retro in its name — it restores the original “Style + numbering “of Vans, which, like Style 137, is a variant of Vans’ classic high-top sk8-hi. Vans outfitted the sk8-hi shoes, numbered Style #38, for more scenarios by adding a half-moon wrap, and pretty much identical to the rest of the sk8-hi.
OG Style 43 LX is a pair of Authentic shoes specially designed for easy wearing and taking off. Style 43 has a long history and grew up with a generation of californians. It was first used in the name of Alyx by Matthew Williams, who was born in California and moved to New York.
In this preview, OG Style 138 LX without exception imitates the previous design Style of OG Authentic LX, adopting asymmetric mirror design, which consists of four colors of black, blue, yellow and red with white checkboard, and is used for the inside of the shoe body — the outside of the shoe body is shown in pure color, and the Vans Logo is hidden in it. While the OG Style 43 LX retains the classic, lightweight canvas body, bold use of vertical stripes, with blue and red launched, maybe there will be a follow-up black and yellow!
