Recently, COMME des GARCONS and Vans have been working very closely together. After a pair of co-branded shoes was launched in October last year, the main line of COMME des GARCONS brand was recently co-branded with the Vans Vault high end branch to launch a new pair of OG Authentic LX high end shoes.
The OG Authentic LX comes with all-black body and details, and canvas shoes emblazoned with white text such as “my energy comes from freedom” and “live free with strong will. “the shoes are covered in a variety of hand-lettered lettering. In fact, COMME des GARCONS launched a white version of the same design two years ago, but it was so muted it didn’t even resonate much.
COMME des GARCONS x Vans Vault OG Authentic LX shoes have been sold in Dover Street Market, London, with a deposit of $130. In addition, CDG also designed a number of leather wallets with the same theme for sale.
