Gary Payton’s classic Nike Zoom GP will receive its first retro release in 2019 for its 20th Anniversary, which debuted in 1999. This will be the third signature shoe of GP’s that Nike has brought back, following the releases of the Zoom Flight ’98 (The Glove) and the Zoom Hawk Flight. The silhouette is detailed with an asymmetrical lace cover and an adjustable buckle located on the lateral section of its mid-foot. Black and white leather uppers make up the base, while another detail is the circular leather patch overlay on its forefoot. Finally, lucid green accents on the branded areas and Zoom Air cushioned soles top off the design.
Nike Zoom GP Retro will release at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online at nike.com during Spring 2019. The OG White and Black will launch on April 20th. Retail price is set at $160.
