Nike Basketball will continue the theme releases of the Kyrie 5. After showcasing the ‘Friends’ edition we now take a look at a UFO inspired release. This new colorway of the Nike Kyrie 5 sports a bold colorway that has a go-to look for the Spring season. It features an Obsidian upper with White speckled detailing as a nod to the nighttime sky. Flashing hints of Green and Blue accents are used on the tongues and outsole highlighted with a basketball-spaceship logo on the signature shroud.
The UFO Nike Kyrie 5 will release at select retailers and online at Foot Locker on April 20th. Retail price is set at $130.
Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports and initially operated as a distributor for the Japanese shoemaker Onitasuka Tiger (now known as Asics). It officially became Nike Inc. in 1971.The Nike swoosh was designed by Portland State University student Carolyn Davidson，The slogan “Just Do It” was inspired by serial killer Gary Gilmore, who said “let’s do it” just before he was executed by a firing squad in 1977.
