Nike will using inspiration from Back to the Future 2 once again, this time for a special edition release of the AlphaDunk. This colorway of the model takes inspiration from the Back to the Future 2 film, more specifically the “Hoverboard” that Marty McFly borrowed from a little girl to flee Griff Tannen and his gang. Featuring a pink, volt, green, and black colorway that draws from the film’s famous hovering skateboard, these AlphaDunks combine a textured woven forefoot with a leather quarter and heel for a two-piece look. Details on the shoe include the embroidered “LOB” on the left shoe, an arrow graphic on the right shoe, insoles that read “Imagination” and “Library of Bounce” graphics, and last but not least the the print on the heel that mimics the print found on the hoverboard.
