A classic and clean combination of black and white has long been utilized on the adidas Ultra Boost — dating all the way back to some of the shoe’s earliest models in 2015 — but now the Three Stripes is putting an alternate spin on the yin/yang pairing with their new “Orca” colorway.
Using a black Primeknit as the base, the upper’s accents arrive via a stark white heel cage and white Three Stripe detailing on the midfoot cage. A refreshing reversal is present on the lower region of the shoe as well — the Boost midsole is dressed in a dark black while the outsole is done up in white, the opposite of the UB’s standard white midsole/black outsole combination. Fan of the flip-flopped colors? You can expect these Ultra Boosts to release on adidas.com and at authorized Three Stripes stockists later this fall for $180 USD.
