Nike’s Air Presto has been a staple in the brand’s arsenal since 2000, always evolving with the times. It looks like Nike will continue to ride the React runner hype into 2019. The Nike Presto React is a decently large departure from previous iterations of the casual runner. This model features a Presto-inspired sock-like upper, and updates the design to include new materials, suede overlays on the heel, a re-designed cage and tongue, and thicker laces. The biggest difference though is a molded React midsole similar to the one used on the React Element 87, replacing the Presto’s traditional foam unit.
Nike’s latest take on the Presto silhouette is set to release sometime in 2019, though no specific release dates have been announced. Due to the upgraded React midsole, the shoe is likely to retail for slightly more than the Presto’s usual $100 dollar range.
