To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Air Max 98, Nike is set to drop a special iteration of the Air Max 98 that pays homage to the Chinese New Year. Having a similar pattern as the “Tianjin” Foamposites from 2015, this Nike Air Max 98 features lotus flowers and Chinese artwork on its upper. Accenting the bold look is a complementary mix of gold and patent leather hits along the vamp of the shoe. Finishing up the loud celebratory take is a white midsole, gold Air Max unit, black rubber outsole and CNY jewel detail.
No official release date has been announced, but look for the Nike Air Max 98 Chinese New Year to release sometime next February.
