Nike has officially revealed their newest React model, the Nike React City. A running shoe designed for those that love running on the pavement. The new model from Nike is labeled as a running shoe for those that like to run on the pavement. Dressed in a Black and Sail color scheme. Main features of the Nike React City include a flexible knitted bootie wrapped by a mesh construction on the upper, an asymmetrical zipper lacing system, translucent branding on the lateral side panels, text on the medial side panels, a plastic heel counter, 3M detailing, and a water-resistant foam atop a React cushioned sole.
Already available overseas, you can expect the Nike React City to arrive in the states very soon on Nike.com for $145 USD.
Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports and initially operated as a distributor for the Japanese shoemaker Onitasuka Tiger (now known as Asics). It officially became Nike Inc. in 1971.The Nike swoosh was designed by Portland State University student Carolyn Davidson，The slogan “Just Do It” was inspired by serial killer Gary Gilmore, who said “let’s do it” just before he was executed by a firing squad in 1977.
