adidas Running Unveils BOOST HD Cushioning

These shoes are available in grey and black, each of which is very classic.

Since first being introduced to market in 2013, adidas BOOST foam has become one of the most popular and recognizable cushioning technologies on the market, beloved for its look just as much as it is for its high-performance comfort on silhouettes like the Ultra Boost and NMD R1. Now, BOOST is set to take a major stride into its next generation thanks to the Trefoil Brand’s latest innovation: BOOST HD, a system that offers increased stability without sacrificing the plush feel and exemplary energy return that makes the open-celled foam iconic.

This next-gen tech is set to debut on the brand-new Pulseboost HD, a high-performance silhouette that’s geared towards the urban runner. Designed in collaboration with athletes in three major cities — Berlin, New York, and Paris — the Pulseboost offers a low-to-the-ground ride and a brand-new Adapt Knit upper. Traction is provided by a Continental rubber outsole that was developed by artificial intelligence, guaranteeing outstanding grip on any surface you might come across.

All these performance innovations are then brought together together by a full BOOST HD midsole, and each shoe features GPS coordinates, nodding to the metropolises that helped bring it to life. There’s also a QR code on the tongue that you can scan with your phone to unlock a custom Spotify playlist for a little extra motivation on your run. The Pulseboost HD will debut for $140 USD on June 20th in a monochromatic grey exclusively on adidas.com, and then release in a stark black a week later worldwide. More colorways are planned for the remainder of the summer as well.
