The logo on the sneakers USES gradients to make the logo look better.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sports Illustrated (A Star Is Born) honors Michael Jordan’s first Sports Illustrated cover during his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls in 1984, and it’s dropping after Christmas. Sporting a combination of white and black leather across its upper, the model is also detailed with red accents on the wings logo, tongue and outlining of the Swooshes.
The highlight is the striped green embroidered Swooshes, colored to reflect the old Milwaukee Bucks jerseys, as it was the team MJ was playing against on the cover image used for his Sports Illustrated cover titled, “A Star Is Born.”
Retailing for $160, look for this Air Jordan 1 at select Jordan Brand stores and online on December 27.
