Originally released during the mid-90s, the Nike Air Max2 Light will make its highly anticipated return to retail early in 2019. Tokyo-based atmos is one of those aforementioned cultural heads, and their creative director Hirofumi Kojima recently took to his Instagram to show off a brand-new Air Max Light 2 — the latest piece in atmos’s long-running line of legendary Air Max collaborations. The upper of the atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light features bright and bold patchwork made up of panels that reference vintage Nike Sportswear garments. Additional embellishments on the model come in the form of red Swoosh branding and transparent overlays.
While the shoes won’t be available, atmos’ Nike vintage collection was sold at Day 2 of ComplexCon. The atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light will release during Air Max Day, March 26th, 2019.
