At the end of this month, Converse’s classic Pro Leather will return, with a full retro style. The first launch of Converse Pro Leather was in 1976, with cultural significance and influence.
For Converse, the shoe represents a distinct product evolution: It was the brand’s first full-grain leather hoops shoe to feature the Star Chevron logo.
While the Converse Pro Leather has had its fair share of celebratory reissues over the years, this latest iteration finds the shoe brought back with stitch-for-stitch modeling of an upper from a 1977 archival holding, and now with remastered and more comfortable tooling.
The Converse All Star Pack includes both the classic White/Red Pro Leather and a Pro Leather-inspired version of Converse’s newest performance hoops shoe, the All Star Pro BB. Rounded out by the classic Chuck 70, the pack brings together some of the most instrumental silhouettes in the history of basketball to celebrate the historic scope of Converse’s performance basketball lineage.
