Part of the On Air collection is the Nike Air Max 98 ‘La Mezcla’ which is designed by Gabrielle Serrano and was created with New York in mind. Reflecting this sentiment is the shoe’s gradient upper, comprised of different skin tones. Dashes of mint green found on the Swooshes, the tongue logo and the laces on one side is a tribute to the Statue of Liberty, complemented by a grey cracked leather mudguard — a reference to New York City’s urban streets.
