To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year 2020, Nike paired their classic shoes with a Chinese-style creative design. Their Chinese New Year 2020 “Year of the Rat” Collection has been officially announced and will be released this month
The collection is inspired by designs form a pattern reminiscent of Yuxian paper-cutting, which involves using scissors and knifes to turn brightly-colored rice paper into images of animals, flowers, landscapes and folkloric figures. It includes the Air Jordan 1 Low, Air Jordan 13, Air Jordan 34, Nike Kyrie 6, Air Max 1, Air Force 1 Low, Air Max 720, Air Max 90, as well as ladies offerings of the Air Max 90, Air Force 1 Shadow, Air Max 270 React, and the Joyride Run 2.
