First introduced to the market all the way back in 1972, the Nike Cortez has gone on to become one of the most recognizable footwear silhouettes in the world. Now a new premium iteration of the lifestyle classic will be arriving stateside soon — one that calls for a rather simplistic black and white color scheme.
The shoe is constructed of a standard black leather with white branding and detailing, but the detailing is not simple by any means. In addition, three Swoosh symbols appear on the heel with an entire row emblazoned on the insole footbed. The look is then completed by a two-tone midsole.
This new Cortez Premium is available now through Nike UK for a price of £80 GBP (approximately $104 USD) and is expected to hit the U.S. market later this fall.
