The Drop Type LX takes inspiration from classic tennis shoes in the NikeCourt collection. Its distinct design lines, autoclave tooling and low-profile upper channel a raw, experimental edge on an iconic look. The latest colors of Nike Drop Type LX are very light and elegant.
The latest pair to surface is this clean white makeup with classic black and cream accents. The upper offers an interesting mix of textures and materials: the base is constructed of nylon, while the heel and forefoot overlays offer a soft suede. A slightly more shaggy suede arrives on the eyestays, leather graces the heel tab, and an ever-so-thin strip of black canvas hits the bottom of the quarter. There’s no midfoot Swoosh here — it’s replaced by a small N.354 hit — but there are hand-scrawled check graphics on both the aforementioned heel tab and exposed foam tongue. A traditional rubber toe cap provides enhanced durability, while a doubled-up midsole design calls to mind shades of the dual detailing made famous by sacai‘s Blazers.
