Last year Nike released an olive “Weekend Campout” colorway of the Nike Air Monarch 4 to celebrate Father’s Day. Now Nike will be adding denim material to their beloved “dad shoe,” the Air Monarch 4, making them perfect for those summer BBQs. Outfitting perfectly with a pair of boot cut jeans and a tucked in polo, the upper’s main fabrication consists of a faded indigo denim, diverting from the color only in its various accents. Bottoms don a smooth gum sole, matching the various earth tones that adorn the glossy leathers of the swoosh as well as the mix of hits on the eyestay, tongue, and heel tab. Bold red embroidery — sparingly though loudly — intermingles across the entire construction, adding some needed pop of color the entire palette.
