Nike Puts Together a Trio of Two-Tone Air Force 1s

Nike’s Air Force 1 is a timeless silhouette that will forever be in rotation each and every year. Instead of dropping another heavily-garnished iteration of the Air Force 1, next up for the iconic model is the debut of a new tongue logo. The forthcoming trio of new entries taps into varsity sports as it utilizes a tonality almost synonymous with many of the mascot-loving pastimes. Heel counters come dressed in contrasting tones, breaking up either the vibrancy or stark blackness of the forefoots while the swoosh comes outlined in that complimentary tone. Another note of interest is the restructured logo found on the tongue, as it foregoes the modernity of the usual tab in favor of a patch that calls back to vintage iconography.
The new Nike Air Force 1 comes in “Yellow/Navy,” “Black/White,” “Red/Black” color schemes and will be available very soon on nike.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned for more details on the official release date.
