Nike SB Blazer Low Celebrates New York City

Nike is releasing a special SB Blazer Low which designed by vintage NYC retailer Procell to celebrate New York City, developed in partnership with local community curators. The sneaker’s theme features a creamy canvas upper with minor distressing seen right above the midsole to reflect the vintage aesthetic of Procell. The collection itself is inspired by the art, sport and culture surrounding the Procell shop in downtown NYC, specifically during the creative era the Nike Blazer was born.
The Nike SB Blazer Low ‘Procell’ is scheduled to release at select retailers and online at nike.com on March 18th. The retail price tag is set at $105 USD.

Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports and initially operated as a distributor for the Japanese shoemaker Onitsuka Tiger (now known as Asics). It officially became Nike Inc. in 1971.The Nike swoosh was designed by Portland State University student Carolyn Davidson,The slogan “Just Do It” was inspired by serial killer Gary Gilmore, who said “let’s do it” just before he was executed by a firing squad in 1977.
