Now that we’ve seen the Chinese New Year-themed Air Jordan 12s, Air Max 98s, and Kyrie 5s, Nike has revealed the full 2019 collection, and it’s far more expansive than originally expected. The sportswear giant used the technique in two different ways, the first being a geometric quilt pattern influenced by all 12 Chinese Zodiac symbols and the second is a mosaic pattern of the 12 symbols. The Swoosh Brand is also nodding to CNY releases of the past, pulling special details like patent leather from 2009’s Air Max 1 and faux snakeskin from 2013’s Air Force 1 onto the new models for a clever wink and a nod to previous drops.
Exact release dates for this collection have not been announced, but Nike says the range will drop throughout the month of January.
