The classic Nike Daybreak returns in a modernized iteration this summer, as it’s dropping in a stylish “Vegas Gold” colorway. The models have the same construction, the upper consisting mostly of nylon with suede paneling, which then rests on a simple foam midsole and a black rubber waffle outsole. Nike branding can be found by the Swooshes on the midfoot, the tongue tabs and by the heels.
Retailing for $100, look for the Nike Daybreak “Vegas Gold” at select Nike stores and online on June 22.
Nike was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports and initially operated as a distributor for the Japanese shoemaker Onitasuka Tiger (now known as Asics).
