Richardson can be said to be derived from the American magazine of the same name “Richardson” fashion brand, its founder Andrew Richardson is also a well-known stylist. Richardson’s wardrobe dates back to 2003, when he teamed up with Supreme, a fashion icon, to create a short-sleeved T-shirt inspired by the cover of Richardson magazine, although the brand was officially launched in 2015. Richardson x Vans’ collaboration with Richardson x Vans came to light recently, but for a variety of reasons it’s a long shot, but today we’re going to take a look at some of the designs.
In this collaboration, Richardson directly printed the Logo of his brand On the black and white classic Slip-On and Old Skool in white, and the details of the two pairs of shoes were decorated with white thread. The other pair of Slip-On covers the body in full black. Both pairs of Slip-On have a black background and a red ribbed heel. The red English On the ribbed heel corresponds to Richardson at the heel of the insole.
The codes a-1 — a-9 were printed in black at the margins of the two slip-on white outsole, which happened to be the same number as Richardson’s magazine in A previous issue. The same code is printed on the edge of two black stud bags from Authentic shoes, one with a plain green canvas upper and the other in white, with Richardson’s Logo outlined in black at the heel.
The final pair was designed on the basis of Era Pro, with an irregular grey, black and white camouflage body. Complete with black sole edge and Pro Skate professional Skate spur UltraCush HD removable insole for comfort and cushioning. Era also embroidered Richardson’s Logo at the back of the Era and appeared in red.
The collection retains the Vans classic brown waffle outsole, which Richardson painted in black “P.H.P.N.C. “capital English.
