Rollicking, a local fashion house run by Mr. Nakano, has long had a partnership with Vans, drawing inspiration from local culture in the past year, and it has been highly acclaimed for its slipon-themed ‘yokosuka embroidery’ shoes. This year both sides is silvery for a long time, roll out finally at the end of the year this double has the embroidery craft of dongying style jointly sign shoe money extremely.
The Rollicking of this joint use of Vans slipon-classic shoe design, Rollicking almost every joint use of it, the degree of love of the brand can be seen. The body is covered with delicate black satin, the inside of the neckline is filled with leather, and logos of both sides are printed on the insole. The hemmed front skirt is wrapped in raw brown glue, while the rest is presented in classic white, subtly applying the popular deconstruction aesthetics.
Shoe money left and right foot vamp embroidered lifelike tiger design and flood dragon totem respectively with the silky line that silver-white matchs color. The tongue of the shoe, as always, is embroidered with the words “Japan/Japan” in handwriting. Rollicking, an expert in cartoon character writing, also featured a lovely rabbit hiding in details, playful shapes and licking in one ear instead of Vans’ “Off the Wall” Logo.
Rollincking x Vans 2018 joint series will be released On November 24, and Slip On is priced at 9720 JPY (tax included)
