The unique trajectory of japanese-american artist Taka Hayashi has created his own unique style of ethnic design, and his highly recognizable co-branded shoes have endeared him to Vans fans. TH 138 Mid LX and TH Authentic one-piece LX in the joint name of two pairs of shoes are modified on the basis of the original shoes and according to the understanding of Taka Hayashi, so the name of the shoes is modified, and the abbreviation “TH” of Taka Hayashi is also used as the beginning.A strong military style is obviously integrated into the design. The shoe style TH 138 Mid LX originated from sk8-mid is shown in military green and white, and the shoe body is made of suede and canvas with dark brown and black outsole respectively.
Full of details of the shoe body: the Sidestripe was removed on the outside, and only the car thread was left. The rubber block with longitudinal raised lines was added below to reinforce the shoes. The Sidestripe continues into the eyelet and back of the shoelace, which is also sewn with leather material. At the same time, the inside of the shoe is also printed with Morse code military labels and enhanced air permeability of the air vent.
The TH Authentic one-piece LX is a continuation of the basic characteristics of Authentic one-piece shoes, and only refers to the design of OG Authentic LX shoes in the heel, with the retro design of suede pieces stitched with four sewing lines, making the shoe body not monotonous.Authentic one-piece is a shoe style based on Authentic, and as the name suggests, it adopts “one-piece/Piece” complete cut pieces to make the shoe body, removing the suture of the ordinary Authentic shoe body.
Taka Hayashi used an orange suede body with a light brown waffle bottom. Another pair has a dark brown outsole in tan; The details of the body are black, with the vintage, embroidered ‘circle Flying V’ Logo on the side, and the Vans Logo on the collar, with the same bold vents on the inside.
The joint name of Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault 2019 spring will soon be released in the designated Vans Vault store, with the TH Authentic one-piece LX selling for 116 USD and TH 138 Mid LX selling for 130 USD.
