There’s no better way to warm Air Jordan 1 fans up to mid and low-top silhouettes than by dressing them in a familiar colorway, and Jordan Brand has done just that once again with the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Sanded Purple.” Bearing recognizable similarities and a comparable colorblocking style to last year’s popular AJ1 “Court Purple,” this “Sanded Purple” iteration differentiates itself just enough by switching up the shades.

A dark blue appears in place of black on the overlays and tongue, while the purple tongue, heel, and collar flaps are all toned down a few degrees as well for a more overcast look. The stormy stylings are then split splendidly by a white leather quarter panel, and a black patent leather midfoot Swoosh provides a pop of premium flair. A white midsole and dark obsidian outsole then round off the look. These Air Jordan 1 Mids will release this summer at retailers like Foot Locker
