Nike Basketball is getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July, and for the occasion they’ll be releasing an Olympic iteration of the LeBron 16 Low. Although the shoe may appear to be a simple white/navy colorway with gold accents at first glance, closer inspection reveals several details that indicate a connection to the storied 1992 USA Basketball squad, better known as the “Dream Team.” Midnight Navy is placed on the tongue tag as well as the inner liner, heel, and midsole areas. Metallic Gold on the tongue, heel, and toe branding gives shoe that olympic look while a gum rubber outsole caps things off proper.
