The Tailwind originally released exclusively in Hawaii late 1978 before fully rolling out to market in 1979. For 2018, the Swoosh will be bringing back the original Tailwind 79 OG during the fall season.
Arriving in a retro “Vast Grey/Photo Blue” colorway, this version of the throwback model stays true to its original blueprint with a mesh and suede upper, blue leather Swoosh, vintage Air sole unit and rubber waffle outsole. Finishing details include an exposed foam tongue with OG Nike branding and a navy blue inner liner.
