Ralph Steadman is a legendary British and welsh illustrator known for his collaboration and friendship with American writer Hunter s. Thompson. Ralph Steadman specializes in drawing political and social comics, as well as cartoons and comic books. Now 82 years old, he’s not slowing down. His collaboration with the Vans Vault high line is coming soon.
Ralph Steadman x Vans Vault the joint will be “animal print” as the theme, launched a total of eight different pairs of shoes, including four double OG Slip – On LX, OG LX and OG Sk8 – Hi Style 138 LX have two pairs of each, which is based On the classic outline Sk8 – Hi branch shoe, retained Sk8 – Hi high recognizable appearance design at the same time, joined the up to date in the top of the shoe, now the half moon that restore ancient ways encapsulates the head design.
The style of Ralph Steadman’s painting is distinctly personal. The lines are bold and bold, and even slightly cult. But now his distinctive, individual paintings are on full display, on either side of the high-top shoe and on the front and back of the pedal.
OG sk8-hi LX features the lion king and the black-and-white zebra; OG Style 138 LX features illustrations of whales and fish; The largest number of OG slipon-lx’s featured not just fish and bees, but also the iconic Vans checkered pattern in blue and yellow.
Each pair of co-branded shoes is carefully selected in colour to match and accentuate the motifs of the illustrations. The body retains many of the features of the Vans Vault’s high-end offcuts, luxurious shoe shapes and ultra-rich details. It’s certainly not the first time that Ralph Steadman has been involved in a pop-culture collaboration, but the entire collaboration includes an outfit that will go on sale later this month.
