Japanese retailer Billy’s has crafted its own version of the Reebok Aztrek inspired by 1990’s Super Famicom game console from Nintendo. The Aztrek is a slightly chunky running sneaker that equips complex layering that allows for a bevy of boisterous color schemes the likes of the head-turning array you see on this particular variety below. Dressed in a mix of Blue, Green, Red, and yellow color tones, while having Grey used as the overlays. An all-over pattern on the laces reads “Gamer” in Nintendo’s signature font along with a set of Japanese characters. A White midsole atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.
Retro gaming fans can pre-order their pair of the Billy’s x Reebok Aztrek at select overseas retailers like billys-tokyo.net for ¥11,880 (app. $104). An official release is set for Dec. 7.
