Tom Sachs is a true artist in every sense of the word. Now Tom Sachs and Nike have officially unveiled their third sneaker collaboration together with an all-new shoe called, the Mars Yard Overshoe, a snow boot-like silhouette designed to combat the elements during winter. His work as an impromptu wear-tester (now more recognized and more standardized — the Sachs studio is actually the first true urban wear-test center in Nike history) led to the Mars Yard 2.0 in 2017. This replaced the original Vectran upper with a polyester warp-knit tricot mesh and inverted the tread of the outsole for more appropriate wear in urban environments.
A wider release will take place on January 31st. The retail price tag is set at $550 USD.
