There’s no denying that the previously unknown Vans Style 36 shoe has grown in popularity with the arrival of Korean pop star kwon chi lung. But it was also inseparable from the original “hard power” of Style 36, which was the most recognizable and popular prototype of Vans’ Old Skool shoe.
In September, Vans released Style 36 Asia’s limited color palette, featuring asymmetrical designs. On the eve of 2019, Vans once again announced three pairs of new color matching Style 36, which will be exclusively sold by Japanese fashion store BILLY’s.
The Style 36 continues to use BILLY’s favorite asymmetrical design. The two sides of the shoe body are made of canvas with different colors. Each pair of shoes style is also matched with two Sidestripe with different colors. BILLY’s also sets up Velcro for the lateral side strip.
Three pairs of shoes all use extremely gorgeous and bold color contrast, a pair of left and right sides respectively with blue and pink processing, with fluorescence green and bright orange Sidestripe outline, cream white suede as the ornament of the toe head and heel; One pair is completely the opposite, with black everywhere, and the green and orange colors on the Sidestripe are changed to the side canvas, and the blue and pink colors on the side canvas are back to the Sidestripe.
Of course, Vans’ most classic checker pattern includes orange, green, blue and pink checker patterns attached to the right and left sides of the shoe and the tongue. As a result of this double color, design is more gorgeous, complex, the place of detail is multi-purpose black and white serves as visual buffer.
Vans Classics Style 36: “left and right asymmetry” the new collection will be officially released on January 1, 2019. The Style 36 will be sold at an average price of 9000 JPY (excluding tax).
