Ever since the rise of “deconstructive aesthetics” last year, Vans has been reinventing the shoe. More recently, Vans Classics has deconstructed a pair of sk8-hi shoes inspired by the millennial Internet, named after the VANSCII sk8-hi, and recently added another major addition to the collection: the VANSCII slip-on.
Although the Internet has matured so rapidly, it is still underpinned by ASCII, one of the original computer languages, which was the inspiration for Vans’ line of shoes, hence the name: VANSCII. The Slip-On VANSCII is black and green, and the body is covered with canvas.
As in THE early days of complex, non-graphical computer interfaces, THE black canvas sole and bold green lettering that ran horizontally through THE English words “VANS” and “OFF THE WALL” formed THE palm leaf pattern at THE toe. The Slip-On edge is the opposite of the body color, with a lot of “VANS” written in black On a green background and black lines.
In addition, green, white and black embroidered checkered patterns are also used in the heel of the shoes, and the cloth Logo of the brand Logo with black characters on the green background is also sewn on the side. Vans also paired the Slip-On with a blue insole and a classic red heel, with a soft black leather filling On the inside of the neckline.
Vans VANSCII Slip On 2019 brand new shoes have been launched On the official website of Vans and the store, at a price of 60 USD
