As the back-to-school season of ComfyCush High school comes to an end in New York and Shanghai, Vans’ new and innovative technology ComfyCush is officially launched to the global market, and many of its shoe models are now available with credit. Some of them are high-end branches of Vans Vault as pioneers. Before the official launch of ComfyCush, Vans Vault has won wide attention and excellent market reputation for ComfyCush through co-signing with five stores in the United States.
The name of “ComfyCush” is a combination of “Comfy comfort” and “Cushion”. It is also a continuation and overall upgrade of previously Vans’ main technology, UltraCush.
Overall, ComfyCush is a new integrated outsole system, in which the insole part strengthens the support of the foot arch, making the shoe style more suitable for wearing for a long time, and enhances the air permeability with densely punched holes. The midsole adopts ComfyCush foam material, inheriting the comfortable, soft and light feeling of wearing feet of UltraCush. Finally, traditional waffle outsole was added as outsole to enhance the wear resistance and grip of the shoe.
As previously mentioned in the trailer, the Vans Vault “ComfyCush” spring 2019 collection will include sk8-hi Reissue ComfyCush LX and Era ComfyCush LX in two different shoe types, with a total of 6 different shoe types. Red, blue, black and white are used in the two shoe shapes, but black and white is the dominant color in the Era, while sk8-hi looks predominantly white.
Both sides of the sk8-hi Reissue ComfyCush LX and the toe and heel of Era ComfyCush LX are made of suede and woven into a checkerboard pattern in a complex process — a technique that has been used many times in a variety of important co-branded and single-piece collections. The rest of the shoe body is made of leather, the sole is completely replaced by ComfyCush, and the insole is followed by the cloud Logo printed with ComfyCush.
