Vans Vault “Cut & Paste” animal hair deconstruction collection

Influenced by last year’s trend of “deconstruction” in sneakers, Vans shoe designers created a new line of “Cut & Paste” deconstruction based on their classic shoes. Due to the good response from the market, Vans Vault may launch the deconstruction series on a regular basis. As previously announced, this spring’s deconstruction series featuring animal patterns and horsehair materials will be launched recently.

The “CAP” in the names of sk8-hi CAP LX and slipon-cap LX is abbreviated from “Cut and Paste”. The shoe type is the continuation of the previous design. The combination of “Cut disassembly “and “Paste splicing” creates different flavors On the basis of the original classic and highly recognizable shoe style.

Sk8-hi CAP LX features YKK zipper, serrated Sidestripe thread, various shoelace eyelets, etc., while slipon-cap LX incorporates the Style 36 shoe shape design into the original wide toe. Also the heel mark parts cut down, re-collage to the outside of the shoe body.

This time, the Vans Vault used a copy of horsehair for each pair — a material with a history of high-end offshoot production. The first Vans Vault collection featured “Pony Hair/horsehair “. Based on the two colors of black and brown, a total of 4 pairs of different shoes were launched.

Over horse hair, the Vans Vault also featured leopard and tiger prints to give the look a wild look. The use of the checker pattern on both sides of the shoe is also a tribute to the Vans Vault’s first collection of high-end extensions, “Pony Hair”.
