As the season and weather shift into summer with the arrival of a brand new June, the Vans Vault premium branch has introduced a new season of “Originals” for Vans enthusiasts. Vans Vault will use a variety of bold colors throughout the collection to form a contrastive design and create a large number of high-end shoe styles.
Not surprisingly, OG Era LX is one of the major shoe models this year. Four new pairs of bright yellow with dark green, dark blue with light blue, bright red with orange, and the last pair of mysterious purple in the middle, before and after with black as visual buffer. High-end feeder line is also very considerate considering the hot weather, using breathable canvas to cover the whole body of the shoe.
OG Authentic LX is no stranger to the Era’s predecessor, which lacks a sponge design for the upper shoe. For this group of designs, we had a preview. The base colors of black, blue, yellow and red were used with suede, and the suede pieces with the toe and heel seams were decorated with checkerboard pattern. The Vans Logo was not yet inserted into the white grid.
OG Style 138 LX is often indistinguishable from the classic high-top sk8-hi, but one of the biggest differences is the addition of a half-moon plastic head design to the toe, which was popular at the time but now looks retro. It is also shown in red, blue, black and yellow pairs, with a checkerboard pattern on the side canvas.
The Vans Vault is also introducing OG sk8-hi LX classic high-tops, as well as the unusual OG Mid Skool 37 LX. Mid Skool is a high-top shoe with high uppers on the basis of Old Skool original shoes, and a special retro version has been selected for this high-end branch.
The biggest surprise is the OG Style 36 LX, which has been seen ina lot of collaborations in recent years, but is the first time in years that it has appeared in the Vans Vault Originals home piece. Vans Vault has also introduced a variety of cool color options for these high-end products.
