A new version of the classic Cut & Paste sk8-hi, which has been “deconstructed,” will be released. From the preview picture, this sk8-hi Bricolage LX is more concise than the previous sk8-hi. It only deconstructs and disassembles the original tongue part of the sk8-hi shoe and re-pasted it to the whole body in the form of circular “patch”. Bricolage means “to assemble from existing materials”.
A sneak peek at the “Vans Word #1 Skateboard Shoe” logo can be found on the “tongue patch”; the label originally appeared on the inside of the Shoe tongue, which the Vans Vault randomly sewn onto the body using rugged serrated stitching. According to the previews, the shoes will be available in black and grey, pure white and a pair of tropical color silhouettes printed on the side. It is not known whether there will be more colors in the future. It is also very rare to use three-dimensional “Off The Wall” embossed Logo on The heel of The shoe.
