Last year, the concept of “deconstructive” design was popularized in the sneaker circle. With the launch of the Vans Vault “Cut & Paste”, Vans began to innovate and “deconstruct” its classic shoes. Earlier this year, Vans Classics introduced a “Cut & Paste” version to make the shoes more accessible to Vans fans.
Recently, a new pair of CAP LX deconstruction Sk8 – Hi shoe in our field of vision, all shoe body with a variety of color matching high-grade “Pony Hair/horse Hair” Mosaic mirror: brown leopard appears at the top of the toe CAP and tongue, dark brown checkerboard is covered on the shoes tongue, inside your shoes eyes and the lateral, tiger stripes are filled to extend to sole package at the edge of the lateral shoelaces eye piece with the heel, the medial lateral Sidestripe and shoe body by black leopard print.
The wild new color palette is stunning, but to alleviate visual fatigue, the Vans Vault paired the sk8-hi CAP LX with brown LACES and irregularly placed brown metal lacing, while still keeping the classic white outsole edge and more top-to-toe.
On top of that, a lot of details were added in brown: the added zipper design on the outside, the stitching and the iconic “heel” of the Vans Vault skateboard that was cut and transferred to the outside. The inboard side of outsole package also pasted a piece of semicircle black and white checkerboard leather.
The Vans Vault 2019 brand new deconstruction series is being released, with the sk8-hi CAP LX priced at 159 GBP
